Welcome to Sen-Fi Reviews Blogspot. I started reviewing earphones because I find writing fun, and it tests my abilities as a writer while listening to music. Doing things I love, I began to write reviews whenever I stumble upon new earphones gears to give my viewers an idea before buying something. I'll ensure that beginners from the audio hobby find my blog beneficial and easy to understand.

Before the year ends I created this tier list for fun and wanted to categorize the IEMs I reviewed, auditioned, and owned. DISCLAIMER: Anything on this tier list is subjective. You can refer below to how I logically categorize some of the IEMs on this list This list is not the "one true tier list" or the "gospel". Geez, I'm not that much of an expert and what's good for you may not be good for others, vice versa. I'm basically doing this for fun, I currently have an issue on my right ear so I won't be doing some reviews for a while. Everything on the list is tried and tested, I won't include anything I haven't tested. I won't put description on every IEMs on the list unless I have to justify it. Just have fun reading my tier list, no need to be too serious. Sen-Fi 2023 Tier List GOD Tier (not in my official Tier List. These are basically revered being in God Tier because of their paramount price, only a selected few can own it, and it ha...
Despite being harsh, little to no sibilance is present
Cons
Can be fatiguing on higher volumes, disciplined volume usage may save your ears
from oblivion
The included silicone eartips may not be suitable to your preferences
Lackluster accessories.
We are going to unbox and a quick review of the unit by CCA, the CCA CRA. This is the second product from CCA that I am going to review prior to this is the CCA CA16 Pro which is a more premium offering from CCA.
DISCLAIMER : This unit is provided by CCA in exchange of an honest review of the unit. This is not a paid promotion or some sort.
/ packaging /
What should you expect from the CCA CRA outside the box? The packaging itself is your usual budget packaging from CCA with a white box and a preview of the product. Once you open the package you can see the unit itself. The package included are pretty straightforward, we have the detachable 0.75mm L-bend type cable, this looks pretty awesome compared to the old braided ones. The stock silicone eartips, and the unit itself.
Rating : 3/5
/ build /
The CCA CRA is a 0.75mm 2 pin IEM with a metal faceplate along with the CCA logo with a universal fit that you can see on most KZ and CCA products, the CCA CRA is available in two-colors. Silver and black, I chose silver because I like how the logo does not stand out too much compared to the black one. I wish they consider making the logo smaller.
/ sound /
As for the sound, the CRA has their usual V-shaped tuning with elevated bass and treble.
Bass Punchy mid-bass. Sub-bass can get deep but not a basshead-styled sub bass. You cannot expect the feeling of rumbling and earthy texture of the sub-bass but enough to offer good low frequencies without compromising the clarity of the mids.
Mids May have occasional mid-bass bleed, when present vocals may sound recessed. Overall, clear and crisp with slight harshy peaks to tracks with intense higher mids
Highs The treble is elevated; it can be fatiguing on long sessions of listening. Piercing peaks may arise, but no to less sibilance is present.
Imaging : The imaging is absolutely surprising for a budget IEM. Great instrument and vocal placement but may struggle a bit on busier tracks.
Compared to other gears I tried and owned:
1. BLON BL-03 vs CRA (winner) - CRA wins over BL-03 with CRA's good imaging and clear details over BL-03's over powering bass.
2. ZSN Pro vs CRA (winner) - I can compare CRA as a cousin to ZSN Pro but without ZSN's infamous sibilance and piercing highs. CRA is more tamed and tuned accordingly to forgive someone's ears a visit to the ENT.
3. E1000 vs CRA (winner) - don't hate me for this, I love the Final Audio E1000 and has a place on my highly recommended gears. However, when it comes to all-around performance on all frequencies and aesthetics, I would choose CRA. Personally, I would still choose E1000 as a daily driver and for commuting since my ears can definitely last for hours with these.
FINAL SCORE
Overall, the CRA is a good and above average product for daily and casual listeners. The metal build is a plus for durability, the cable is awesome and hassle-free, other than that everything is good to average. As for the price, I am not sure if CCA will decide to lower it down since we do not receive any updates to their final pricing but for around 1000 pesos this would be a deal breaker compared to other IEMs on the market around its price when it comes to sound.
